Instead of trying to come up with something to write, which I’m apparently not good at, instead I’m just going to start writing and see where it goes.
Thursday I only worked half a day and spent the last half of the day playing golf and drinking with the boss. Pretty nice way to spend a Thursday afternoon. The weather was just amazing.
Janitas has closed. I haven’t really talked to Craig and Kim about it but really it isn’t any of my business so maybe I shouldn’t bother them. I really liked that place too. its a shame. There’s more info here if you are so inclined.
I have this key in my house that’s actually opens my front door. Its all painted with saints’ colors and still attached to the little paper thing they give you. I have an irrational dislike of that key. I believe that key hates me and I probably shouldn’t have it in the house. I’m not certain a key could do anything about hating me, but I do know that inanimate objects occasionally get the better of people. Albeit, it usually isn’t the fault of the inanimate object.
I did not have a productive weekend. I got a little work done in yard this evening, but nothing impressive. I’m hoping to have a productive week and a productive weekend next weekend.

I think I need to get out of town for a weekend sometime soon. I always say I’m going to do that and then I don’t. The problem is: where would I go? I mean, it isn’t that I’m not aware that there are other places in the world that I am in at. This isn’t a big ol’ mystery like the refrigerator light thing that sometimes sends me into an existential tailspin. But where do I want to go? Freewill kinda sucks in a way. There are too many options when you have freewill. Speaking of which, I think it may be time to get some people together and go to the museum. I was sort of waiting for someone before I went, but that’s a moot point now. For those who’ve never heard of this….take it all in. Hey!!!! Nope we’re not goin anywhere and may re-appear sooner than you realize. Just in a different location. It’s all good.
We are serving our final Breakfast/Brunch this Sunday 3/29 at J’anita’s. It had been scheduled awhile back for the Pirate Con. So there will be about 50 or so Pirates and wenches there, and we’d love to feed our friends too in this last hurrah Buffet. ( Yes I said Buffet).
In the meantime, we have free time…call us and you can buy Craig a drink.
