My next flight

31 Jul

It appears that someone has created a site to keep flights more interesting. So the next time you’re on a plane and have your laptop with you just pull up this site and wait for all the fun to commence.

Skull Club

18 Jul

I’m heading out to the Quarter tonight with Kaveman, Bex and The Giant Peach. Figure we’ll tool around and hopefully make it over to the Skull Club and try and find Lord David of Humid City Fame. What with Loki having moved back to my home town of Cincinnati, I figure to keep the balance in order I should hang in some of his old haunts.

I know I’ve run into Loki on a number of occations but I can’t remember a specific time of running into Lord David. That doesn’t mean it hasn’t happened – it just means I may not remember. I suppose I should assume the same on his end. He has known Lizzy de Termite for quite some time so maybe he’s aware of me.

This purpose has no purpose at all but I haven’t posted in a while and needed to kill some time while I listen to Firewater. Stil hands down the best concert I’ve ever seen. Here, have a look:

ah, twitter

02 Jul

For the longest time I thought Twitter was a flash in the pan application. At 140 characters as a limit, you really can’t share much. So, obviously, most people’s “tweet” are pretty trite and uninteresting. I was really short sighted about the whole thing. For one, if you tweet enough, its like the pilot of your brain-plane takes over and starts to expose some things you might not want shown to the world. For another, if you’re peanut butter and vasaline sammich crazy it makes for an interesting read.

Changing the subject to something entirely unrelated to the previous paragraph, if you’ve never read through, and don’t follow this little bit of twitter lovin’, then do yourself a favor and have a look, man.

HA!

Clarification: There’s no way to know if anyone on Twitter is who they say they are.
